Welcome to Aaron Riley Rucker Middle School. On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to the start of the 2008-09 school year. A. R. Rucker is truly a wonderful learning community. We have a great deal to be proud of as we begin a new school year. Along with being named an "Exemplary Writing" school for the third consecutive term, we also received the covenant "Red Carpet" award for the second consecutive term. We are now eagerly waiting on our International Baccalaureate status. Our dedicated teachers and staff work closely with our students in bringing a quality education to every child. With the implementation of single-gender classes our students will continue to consistently show improvement in all areas of academics while becoming involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. Our students are involved in excellent arts programs as well as after school sports. We are proud of our commitment to student achievement and look forward to future success.
